One of the most asked questions is, “How do we get started?” The building process can often be overwhelming and that is why we, as the owners of Dos Vigas, spend a great deal of time with the client in the planning stages. We walk you through each step so that we can eliminate as much of the guess work and confusion as possible. A number of our clients have even told us that they enjoyed building and that it was fun.   When we first meet with a client, either in person or by telecommunication, we ask them what their “wish list” is for a home. What features do you like and want in your dream home? We also, will ask the client many questions in order to stimulate everyone’s imagination and to give us a better idea for estimating a price. We have various methods with which we work with clients for pricing.

  After some general discussion about what type of home the client would like, we will work with you in lot selection, home design and firming up pricing. If you prefer, we can use your house plans, refer you to other designers or have you view some of our existing plans.

  Some people do not want to go through the process of building, but would like a one of a kind custom home. Purchasing one of our existing homes alleviates the waiting time for building.
