Dos Vigas Construction, Inc. is a family owned company specializing in building only custom homes. We have been building in New Mexico for almost two decades and take pride in our designs, quality of materials and workmanship. Our homes are influenced by the surroundings of New Mexico, the landscape, the culture and the colors.

   Since 1986 the main area of construction has been in the Albuquerque, Corrales and Santa Fe vicinities. Although concentrating in the traditional pueblo style home, we also build in a contemporary southwestern style. We have built all sizes of homes from guest house to 4000 square feet. We work with the customer in designing as well as in the building process or the client may prefer to choose from a set of previous plans or a home that is currently on the market. All of our homes are designed to take advantage of the views, the contours of the lot and the “wish list” that the client presents to us. We can also build from a set of plans that a client may bring to us.

Our homes contain such features as vigas and wood beams, lintels, wood decking in the ceilings, adobe walls, brick or tile floors, custom masonry Kiva fireplaces, solid wood doors, custom designed cabinetry, granite or tile counter tops, plaster walls, wood floors, flagstone patios, skylights, security system, full entertainment systems, radiant heating, metal clad wood windows and much more.

Because Dos Vigas is a small, family owned company, we as the owners are better able to give of our time and provide individual attention to the client as well as to the overseeing of the building process. Many people enjoy working with Ken, the president and Bernice, who also is a licensed contractor.

Dos Vigas Construction, Inc. has had homes in the Albuquerque Parade of Homes, the Festival of Homes, and has been the featured builder in the real estate section of the Albuquerque Journal. We are a member of the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce.
